high art

high brow art lovers/knowers amuse me with their hate for branding and advertising

THOSE educated ones think they are so clever

that nobody knows, that nobody would notice…

develop a concept

grab attention

test it

analyse it

systemise it

what sells well?

no…. nobody knows u r a marketing guru

nobody noticed high art has sold OUT

yes, let’s look down on a desperate, not-so-talented designers

  1. branding and advertising are two entirely different horses in the same field.
Branding says “this is who/what I am”
Advertising says “this is why you need/want me”
Both have their place. And neither are required.
But then again gold isn’t required either – and it still seems to be doing quite well :)
